We prepare students for the Beauty Council (formerly the Cosmetology Industry Association of British Columbia) licensing exam to build their hairdressing foundation theories and principles, ensuring a life-long career in the dynamic beauty industry. Our Hairdressing Diploma program covers the following topics: basic science of hair, haircutting, permanent wave and colour, professional development, salon business, design, and product knowledge.

We combine foundation theory with practical hands-on learning in a small classroom setting, allowing specialized instructors to design personalized practice schedules tailored to each student.

Salon Internship

Our Salon training environment emphasizes skill and excellent customer service. Students are carefully supervised by industry veterans providing guidance and training. Hands on salon training typically begins after 1 to 2 months of classroom practice and lecture and is combined with training modules for salon service, customer service, sales and management.

Program Outcomes

After successful completion of the Hairdressng Diploma program you will:

• Receive a Hairdressing Diploma form a PCTIA accredited institution.
• Be a qualified stylist who is ready to be employed.
• Be able to perform professional hair services offered in both Western and Eastern style salons.
